![]() ![]() My electrician identified Loxone as the preferred solution for my needs having spoken to a Loxone Partner (James Stockton-Link) who was fully briefed of my requirements including the make of the blinds I wanted to incorporate. I am very unhappy with the whole Loxone arrangement. go for another system.or don’t bother at all.it really is the worth it! If anyone else has similar experience, please comment with your email address as I would love to share experiences Bryan I am left with little alternative than to replace the system. Incompetent installers loxone still refuse to get involved. ![]() 3.5 years after the installation was meant to be complete, its still not it’s like living in a haunted house. All they are interested in is selling units, they do not care how well the unit intsalled it the actions of their installers.I invited them many times to come and inspect my installation, but always refused.I would liken it to cigarette companies refusing to do research into the product, as they desperately done want to know the answer. all incompetent and despite the recommendations loxone unwilling to get involved to sort. First installer a loxone cerified gold installer and the second a personal recommendation from the loxone M.D. having to take 2 of them to the small claims court for £60k+ As neither was able to compete the job. Incompetent installers.save yourself a lot of grief.buy something else I loved loxone when they started but sadly they dropped the ball later on. The lack of support from loxone it self means that as an installer or reseller you are on your own. I never sold another loxone system again. But as a customer and installer I warn people the support from loxone is terrible, the products are expensive and most of all the product are simply said bad and unreliable. Luckily I barely sold loxone to customers and it was more of a side job/hobby. I have about 5 to 7 tickets with loxone but got no answers and remember I was a silver level installer. Unfortunately a few years in all my battery devices started making bad contacts because the battery hold down system was just plain badly designed Later 10 of my valves started leaking (because of floor heating zones caused cracks in my floor) then recently my blinds started randomly opening at night but in the app shows everything is still closed. I ordered everything for my house fancy glass light switches, valves, motion sensors, remotes and all my blindmotors. When I heard of loxone it looked amazing and I was sold, I wanted to install it in my own house sell to others. “We wanted a solution that was highly intelligent, simple to use and yet affordable! We wanted to have a system where the lights would turn on if you got up in the middle of the night without having to fumble around for a light switch in the dark a system intelligent enough to close the blinds and curtains automatically based on the position of the sun and a system that maintains the perfect temperature in every room.Hello all This is my experience is as a reseller and installer. They scoured the market for something that would meet their needs but found what was on offer to be impractical, complicated and expensive. So why were homes so far behind?īoth Martin and Thomas wanted intelligent and convenient automation in their own homes. After all, this was at a time where cars could already parallel park themselves and robotic lawnmowers could take care of the gardening. We started in 2008: Thomas Moser and Martin Öller liked the idea of having a home in which the majority of functions like safety, energy efficiency and comfort could all be centrally controlled.
